area, this re-creation of an 1880 pioneers' encampment lets you
experience the excitement of camp life in the early days of the Gold Rush and of
thrilling encounters with big game. |

note that Paradise Camp is now used exclusively for scientific
research and conservation purposes and is run by a resident
full-time environmental scientist Mr Craig Spencer. His
environmental reports can be seen
here Paradise Camp is available to a very limited number
of guests wishing to participate in the conservation processes of
the reserve. |
